Doug Beasley has been a fixture in the Las Vegas music scene for over three decades.  He enjoys an active life as a professional French horn player.  He is a member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Nevada Pops, Las Vegas Wind Quintet, and The Brassroots Brass Quintet. He has played for Las Vegas headliners such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, and Broadway shows including Phantom, The Lion King, and Spamalot.  In December of 2008, Mr. Beasley had the honor of soloing at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic with the Green Valley High School Orchestra.

After a distinguished career as a band director, he retired from the Clark County School District after thirty-three years. The last twenty-six of those years, he was the band director at Greenspun Junior High School in Henderson, Nevada.  In that time, his bands consistently garnered Superior ratings at both local and regional festivals.  In 2007, the Nevada Music Educators Association named Mr. Beasley Music Educator of the Year.  He holds both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Music Education from UNLV.
